Recreation Center Update

With the expansion plans currently under review by Council, construction will begin this fall on the Blue Ash Recreation Center. The larger facility will provide more options for business and resident members. Portions of the existing recreation center will be improved, and other areas will be torn down to accommodate a two-story fitness center, a three-lane, 0.1-mile elevated indoor track, a new family and community area, new locker rooms and a rock-climbing area attached to the fitness rooms. The project will take a year to complete.

A Vibrant Downtown

The City of Blue Ash is committed to keeping the community vibrant, both for residents and for businesses. As recent evidence of this commitment, City Council is working with City Administration to develop an improved streetscape plan.

This new plan will include a comprehensive review of all aspects of downtown Blue Ash. The configuration of streets and sidewalks; and the design and placement of signage, lighting and landscaping will all be evaluated to make sure the dowtown area is attractive for residents and visitors.
